摘要：
The third 5-year plan has targets of 530,000 ha of rehabilitated systems and a number of new irrigation systems in many districts in the country. In the design of irrigation facilities, headworks as well as reservoir dams are frequently planned; the government has been emphasizing the execution of the hydraulic model test for the appropriate design of these important facilities, and has requested of the Japanese Government technical cooperation in this field.
