The suggestions given to win the NSF Early Faculty Development (CAREER) program award, are discussed. According to NSF program solicitation, CAREER propsals must include 'creative, integrative, and effective research and effective research and educational plans'. It is suggested to read the program solicitation carefully and follow all instructions. After outlining the plans, the ideas should be provided the CAREER contact person in the NSF division or program to which the plan is to submit.
