摘要：

The aim of the paper is to analyze the modern state and prospects of development of HPE in CIS countries. Data on the HPE development and assimilation of the hydraulic resources (HR) in these countries are presented. The priority directions of HR using and effective investments in HPE during the nearest prospects are proposed for each of the CIS countries.
