摘要：

The asymmetric unit of the crystals of the title compound, C21H17NO5S, contains two crystallographically independent molecules, each consisting of a carbazole moiety and a phenylsulfonyl group. The geometry around the S atoms is distorted from that of a regular tetrahedron.
