摘要
The stability characteristic of an externally pressurized gas lubricated porous bearing without journal rotation is analyzed theoretically by a perturbation method. It is shown that the stability due to pneumatic hammer decreases with increase in the gas supply pressure, the bushing thickness and the porosity of bushing material. The effect of the feeding parameter on pneumatic instability is also investigated.
