The input language of the NC system for the profile grinding machine, Model 3952F3, dependent on the microcomputer 'Elektronika 60', is based on the standard ISO code. Consequently, it has geometrical means of facilitating the compilation of a control program which only uses the dimensions detailed in the detail drawing. The co-ordinates of the points of contact and intersection between straight lines and circles which form the contour of the component are automatically determined. The block of geometrical particulars is written in an intermediate language which facilitates a reduction in the amount of storage.
