There have been many systems developed to remove the porosity in die castings, including the Acurad Process, the Pore Free Process, the Squeeze Casting Process, the UNI-FF Process, the ADV Process and the Gas Free Process. This paper describes the features of these processes and evaluates the amount of retained air levels.
