摘要：

The small-staff manufacture of welded products requires sensors to control the manipulation of the welding torch along the actual path of the weld and to identify the weld seam dimensions in order to reach an adaption to the given welding task. The development of production technology, including industrial robots and sensor technology, makes it possible to increase labor productivity above average and removes from the welding personal heavy work which is often detrimental to their health.
