摘要
The theory for high-frequency envelope solitons propagating along a homogeneous, unmagnetized plasma cylinder is generalized. It is then shown that previously neglected second-harmonic terms are of the same order of magnitude as the nonlinear density terms, if the axial wavelength is comparable to, or larger than, the cylinder radius.
