摘要
The shifted Chebyshev of the second-kind polynomial functions is employed to solve variational problems. The solution is carried out by using an operational matrix for integrating the shifted Chebyshev of the second-kind polynomial functions. Variational problems are reduced to solving algebraic equations. Two illustrating examples are given, and the computational results obtained by the shifted Chebyshev method are compared with the exact solution.
