Various corrosive environments, the action of other building materials, the effect of the method by which aluminum materials are applied, and the standards for evaluation of aluminum corrosion are considered. Aluminum is vulnerable to acids and alkalis and is base in electrode potential. Therefore a method for application of aluminum materials which protects them from the action of other building materials and contact corrosion is important. Maintenance to keep a fine appearance of aluminum surface is also important.
