摘要：

Several grinding operations are compared for similarities. They are controlled-force internal, surface and external grinding and feeding-rate external, abrasive cutoff and vertical spindle rotary table surface grinding. Results indicate that for all these operations, identical relationships exist between metal removal and wheelwear rates, normal force and power. The relations are simple, easily measured and plotted, and once understood can be used to improve production and reduce costs.
