摘要
The aim of the work is to determine the influence of the properties of various types of stone sands. The stone sand was manufactured in laboratory or at experimental lines especially of rocks which are found in Slovakia and can be taken into consideration for the production of crushed aggregate for concrete. At experimental works was studied the influence of dust particles 0-0. 063 mm content on the properties of fresh and hardened cement mortar. The influence of dust particles content on the change in pore system of cement stone was also verified. The properties of mortars of stone sand were compared with mortars prepared of quality natural sand from river deposits. The experimental works have shown that the properties of stone sand are dependent on the properties of the rock type they are prepared from, on its mineralogical and chemical composition and on the production technology of aggregate.
