摘要
The coupled boundary-layers for the condensation of steam-air mixture on a horizontal tube are treated using an implicit finite difference marching procedure. The equality of shear stress at the gas-liquid interface is used as the coupling condition between the two phases. The inertia and convection terms are retained in the analysis and the gas phase velocity is obtained from potential flow. The results presented show that the heat and mass transfer depend to the variation of the temperature Δt. Results of this analysis are compared with the theoretical and experimental studies of several authors and the comparison is satisfactory.
