The large memory capacity of modern programmable calculators enables antenna radiation patterns to be plotted simply and easily, even in case of relatively complex configurations. Programs intended for the type HP 97 calculator, which employs reverse Polish notation, and applicable to an 8-bay VHF turnstile transmitting antenna and to a two-mast directional mf antenna are described. This is illustrated by various examples of the patterns obtained. The article is of particular interest to engineers who are not specialists in antenna design.
