摘要：
The object of digital field calculation is explained. The physical conditions in compressed sulphur hexa-fluoride (SF//6) are also discussed. The methods for numerical field calculation are described and the limits for each are indicated. The finite-element difference method which has so far been found most suitable for the complicated arrangements in metal-clad installations, is dealt with in detail. Attention is called to examples in field-calculation practice.
