Exact Machine, a small job shop in Sunbury, Ohio is cited as an example of how installing a computerized shop control system has made a difference in improving the scheduling and routing work to avoid bottlenecks. Its computerized control system has helped improve delivery times, optimize manpower and machine scheduling, keep better track of jobs, and minimize inventory.
