Analyzes the shortages of library bibliographic query systems, then presents a new method to overcome these shortages. It enforces the system by means of full text retrieval and agent technologies. The design and implementation of a fuzzy retrieval interface for library bibliographic query are detailed. The performance is tested, analyzed and compared with the old systems. The test results show that this new method is useful, viable for most information systems.
