摘要:
The influence of tempering of AMS 5516 steel on mechanical properties at room temperature and impact toughness was studied. There is an obvious embrittlement zone in this steel after quenching at 990°C and tempering at 450-500°C. Micro-analysis shows that the embrittlement phenomenon is induced by the decomposition of residual austenite and the transformation of Fe3C to M23C6 during tempering.
