摘要：
In the Sumitomo Top and Bottom Blowing Process (STB), the mixing of metals in a bath of the interface between the slag and the metal is controlled by gases introduced into the bath through an annular nozzle installed at the bottom of the BOF vessel. The many advantages of the new refining process are discussed. 14 refs.
