摘要
In the conventional zinc electrolytic process treating a sulfidic ore concentrate the roasted material is leached in dilute sulfuric acid to produce a zinc sulfate solution from which undissolved solids that form the zinc plant residue are separated. The residue contains a significant portion of the zinc as zinc ferrite as well as nearly all Pb, Ag and Au present in the zinc sulfide concentrates treated. Title, patented process which removes iron from solutions as compounds called jarosites is described and its flowsheets are shown.
