This paper describes an integrated part of a PVC processing plant designed for PVC compounding (mixing with necessary additives). Particular attention is given in this report to the cooling of dry blend. The integrated compounding equipment usually is connected with extrusion plant thus providing automatic operation of extrusion line. Some design considerations of mixers are given.
