A technology of portion aluminum feeding has been suggested, whereby integrated its amount for smelting is determined with due regard for the exothermic effect induced by the introduction of first portion and the averaging blowing within 3-4 min. A model was developed which enables to define an aluminum amount required for its lower content value in melt. The good coincidence of calculated and real aluminum concentration in metal after deoxidizing and alloying was recorded. The elaborated process of portion deoxidizing the low carbon (08Yu) steel makes it possible to predict the aluminum content to sufficient accuracy.
