In this paper a new second generation current conveyor (CCII) topology, designed for low-voltage low-power operation, is proposed. The CCII has been applied to the simulation of high capacitance and inductance behaviours, to be used, for example, in the design of low-pass and band-pass filters for low-frequency operation and suitable for fully integrated applications. PSPICE simulations, performed employing the circuit in a standard CMOS technology (ALCATEL Mietec 0.5 μm) and showing the good performances of the presented circuits, are also reported.
