摘要：

To implement the updating of the previous manual, the Committee on Ground Water elected to create a Task Committee in June 1968. The objective of the revised manual is to present information in a logical sequence to serve as a guide to the civil engineer and others involved in ground water management. The manual assists in focusing attention on the existence of ground water problems; developing alternative plans for ground water management; and selecting and implementing a plan.
