摘要
Nowadays, the DIN 4768(1) standard measured variables R//Z, R//m//a//x and R//a for the stylus method are mainly used to evaluate the microgeometry of technical surfaces, i. e. surface irregularities of the 3rd and 4th order according to DIN 4760. Use is made of the advantages that the measuring conditions are clearly defined and that the individual application is supported by many years of experience, which enable a positive evaluation of the quality to be made. The report gives examples of surfaces with special stresses, where measured variables have been found, which are more directly orientated to the function of the surface. During the trial period of a special measured variable, a digitalised profile was taken from a desk computer and evaluated according to defined instructions.
