In view of the high loading in the SW band by signals from different radio stations one of the most promising methods of improving the reliability of SW radio links is by using the principles of frequency adaptation, the essence of which can be reduced to automatic retuning of the operating frequencies in the communication process in order to ensure an information reception quality within the limits of the permissible standard. A method of calculating the incorrect reception probability distribution functions for SW channels subjected to the action of concentrated noise when using working-frequency adaptation is proposed.
