摘要
For a unique application of rotating biological contactors (RBCs) to upgrade trickling filter effluents, the unit rate of nitrification followed a logistic-S curve or second-order kinetics with the maximum rate at 2. 75 g soluble ammonia nitrogen removed/m**2. This paper describes ammonia nitrogen (NH//3-N) removal, as well as the characteristics of the RBC biofilm, and also suggests a design procedure for such application.
