摘要
The effects which atmospheric lightning produces on metal cables have been investigated. Within the martensite region there are fatigue cracks. Because of easy crack nucleation and start in the quenched zone, it is important to be able to define their growth rate in order to evaluate how long the cable could be maintained in service. The aim of the present investigation was to give information about it.
