The use of the generalized function tool in Fourier transformations is generally accepted; this expands the region of spectral representations in certain nonintegrable signals. As is well known, delta -functions are contained in the spectral density of certain nonperiodic signals. However, the spectral density of other signals of this same class is written in many present-day publications ignoring the delta -functions.
