SI UNITS IN NUCLEAR ENGINEERING.

This paper reviews the Systeme International d'Unites (SI units) to be adopted in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, including the accepted prefixes for modifying magnitudes and some customary and derived units used in conjunction with the fundamental SI units. Adaptions to specific areas of nuclear engineering are investigated together with a series of illustrations of typical magnitudes in the new units.
