摘要
Progress in automobile manufacturing is mainly determined by the combination of technical and organizational developments. This includes the promotion of computer-integrated development and production sequences (CIM) and further mechanization of production with emphasis on flexible mechanization systems. Automated guided vehicle systems in production and material handling for more flexible production systems with isolated sub-sections will become just as much prevalent as separate bays instead of assembly lines to flexibilize and isolate mechanization facilities and for more efficient manual production of models with large production time differences. Very great efforts are being undetaken in the logistic sector, with the aim of reducing stock levels and door-to-door times.
