摘要：

The detailed design, construction and operation of the linear and its support systems is described. Section II deals with the dynamical design of the accelerator including the choice of parameters, transverse dynamics and space-charge effects. Section III describes the engineering design, construction and performance, and beam quality of the linac. Section III describes some of the parasitic uses of the linac. Finally, in Section IV are included some facts concerning overall operational performance of the facility.
