A study was made of the effect of a number of surface-active additives on the initial stage of electrolytic crystallization of copper and the subsequent growth of copper powder. It was found that, by using surface-active agents possessing different adsorptivities with respect to copper and titanium, it is possible to control the copper precipitation process in both of the above-mentioned stages.
