In most simultaneous data acquisition systems a large number of analog input channels are strobed at precise time intervals and then sequentially digitized by an analog-to-digital converter. The article presents some simple tests to check the multichannel ssample-and-hold circuits using a wideband oscilloscope and a simple mathematical model.
