Energies and relative intensities of γ rays in the decay of 182Ta-182W have been measured precisely using a 64.1 cm3 Ge(Li) detector. This isotope is suggested as a calibrating source for the efficiency of Ge(Li) detectors in the region from 85 to 300 keV and from 900 to 1400 keV.
