摘要
A generalized model of creep and plastic strain which is based on the concept of the material damage is developed. Failure of the material is considered first of all as a state of complete exhaustion of the local plasticity of the material caused both by concentration of strain which is induced by the material inhomogeneity and by concentration of strain which is induced by relaxation of the stress peaks formed during the inhomogeneous material loading. This effect is strengthened by other physical and chemical processes of degradation, formation of discontinuities and microcracks caused by the exhaustion of the deformation ability of the material.
