摘要
This paper presents the structure, operation principle, main formulas and characteristics of the axial-field-induction motor developed in China in 1985. The problem of how to calculate the axial force which is peculiar to such kind of electric machine is discussed and a formula is derived. The result of experiment shows that the formula is accurate.
