摘要
Solid fuel technologies such as grate stokers, spreader stokers and pulverized solid fuel firing are not as flexible as oil or gas-firing technologies. Among them, firing of pulverized solid fuels nevertheless remains the most flexible one if turndown ratio and ability to change the fuel quality and origin are taken into account. However, in addition to the problems related to feeding with regularity and reliability, the use of pulverized solid fuels may be dangerous if adequate technical solutions for silo filling operations, storage control and conveying are not chosen and carefully respected. This paper describes what the author regards as adequate storage, dosage and conveying systems for pulverized coal and petroleum coke and, in addition, makes some brief comments on pulverizing and drying stations for these fuels.
