City streets can have widely differing needs, as this report from Peter Silveri clearly demonstrates. On an exit ramp in New York City, the prime requirement was skid resistance, whilst in McPherson, Kansas, a concrete highway needed levelling. The 'street wise' authorities both chose diamond grinding.
