Special features were examined of radical copolymerization of styrene, methylmethacrylate, acrylonitrile with (methacryloxymethyl) methyldiethoxysilane in the presence of Aerosil. It was established that previously fixing (methacryloxymethyl) methyldiethoxysilane on a solid surface influences special features of grafting, however, with the monomer ratios used the decisive factor in changing the overall rate of heterogeneous polymerization is the ability of the surface to interact physically or chemically with the monomers. Considering the type of monomer the dependence of grafting on reaction time, temperature, monomer concentration and the specific surface of Aerosil was analysed.
