摘要
For the majority of modern microwave devices a characteristic features is the complexity of the construction and the considerable length on a wavelength scale. The computer-aided design of such a device usually involves developing an algorithm for analyzing it, and then using this algorithm to optimize the characteristics of the device, since parametric synthesis is only possible in the simplest cases. An effective method of economizing on computer time when solving such problems is to interpolate the complex functional relations by simpler functions that can be calculated more rapidly, but which at the same time give high approximation accuracy. A more universal and promising method of approximation is to use splines, the advantages of which are their convergence to the interpolated function, their high approximation accuracy for large intervals of variation of the arguments, adaptation by choosing the form of the spline and the boundary conditions for specific features of the problem in hand, and the possibility of constructing models of functions, the derivatives of which have points of discontinuity.
