摘要
The purpose of this study was to determine the possibility of conducting high-temperature extraction of rhenium from sulfuric acid acid solutions with TAA using higher hydrocarbon-paraffin mixtures as the diluent of the extraction system. Substitution of kerosene by paraffin (P) in the extraction system would permit decreasing the danger of fire and explosions during the extraction process, limit the entrance of the vapors of organic substances in the air of the work places, and decrease the contamination of the sulfuric acid by hydrocarbons. Since the concentration of sulfuric acid in industrial solutions can vary within relatively wide limits, the effect of this factor on the completeness of extraction of rhenium was studied. Experimental results indicate that the maximum extraction is observed in the 2-4 mole/liter (200-400 g/liter) range of concentrations of sulfuric acid both in the case of extraction with the liquid extracting agent and with the melt. The highest degree of extraction of rhenium was attained in extraction with the melt. This could be due to the higher rate of establishemnt of extraction equilibrium in the system at the high temperature.
