It is necessary to perform impedance matching between switch matrices and cable to extend the frequency band. The switch matrices signal circuit is suitable for a balanced line which has a rectangular section and where two signal conductors are shielded by outer plates. The relation between the structure of the balanced lines and the circuit constants is shown by using the infinite series method. When the signal conductors have overlapping parts, the analysis is made easier, by minimizing the number of sections into which the analytical domain is divided, assuming magnetic walls between the conductors. When the conductors have no overlapping parts, the general equation is used to indicate the relation, and the errors from the division of the analytical domain and Fourier series discontinuance are evaluated.
