摘要
Dilatometric examination was used to investigate the sintering of higher pressure water atomized fines. It is confirmed that sinterability is superior to alloy powders atomized with ordinary water pressures. Sintering in hydrogen atmosphere improved sinterability due to the fact that the main sintering mechanism is volume diffusion while grain boundary diffusion is the main mechanism in argon and vacuum atmospheres.
