Electronic Control System for Short-Distance Rail Vehicles.

The electronic control system for short-distance rail vehicles consists of a car control unit, train control unit and testing device. The car control unit processes the commands issued by the driver and determines the starting and braking sequence for the car. The train control unit transmits the commands to all car units when these are connected to form a train. The testing device serves to check that all control units are functioning properly. All units are designed on the modular principle and can thus be adapted to suit the requirements and scope of the application.
