摘要：
Requirements to be met by the control circuits of high-speed paper machine drives are given, along with basic technical data of a PANT drive system. Schematic diagrams of PANT1 and PANT2 drives are given and individual components of these drives discussed, including the current and speed control loops of the driving motor. The principle of operation with examples of the oscillograms of starting, braking and response to sudden load changes is given. These oscillograms were taken during tests on prototypes of PANT drives.
