Conditions are considered which determine the choice of the temperature of gases at the outlets from fireboxes, which ensure slagless operation of steam superheaters. It is shown that selection of the permissible temperature should be realized with consideration of the nonuniformity of the temperature field, as well as with consideration of the method of lowering the temperature of the gases at the outlet from the firebox.
