Recent Developments in Automatic Control.

At Aerospatiale, automatic control was essentially developed in three fields: dimensional control, nondestructive control and assays of equipment and electrical circuits. These developments are justified by the fact that automation enables: either to reduce the cost price of the control, thanks to the reduction of the unit times of control, either by making the operator's task easier, or by improving reliability of the control in question. These reasons can be found to varying degrees in the applications described in the course of the expose.
