摘要
The design and line diagram of the basic elements are given for a unique 16-MV pulse generator (GIN-16), investigated using a full-scale mock-up with a voltage of 6 MV. The GIN-16 is designed to yield voltage pulses with an amplitude of 4. 8 and 16 MV at a full discharge energy of 2. 5 MJ with ohmic, capacitive, capacitive-ohmic loads, with a front duration without sharpening within the 1-250 mu sec range and a pulse duration of 10 mu sec-20 msec. The 6-MV generator mockup tested has a discharge capacity of 53. 4 nF and generates pulses with an energy of 0. 96 MJ.
